The Stingers management and players bid a sombre goodbye to Head Coach Sifundile Lofty Tyebileyo with a win over Alexandra Wolves on Saturday the 15th of June 2019 in Soweto. This stalwart of a man who hails from the Eastern Cape joined the Tshuma Stingers Coaching Staff in 2015 and has seen the club through from its humble beginnings to lifting 2 consecutive championship cups in 2017 and 2018 under the GLRU Senior Grand Challenge flag.

With his quiet but powerful demeanour he has been an inspiring force that has seen players grow from boys to men as they battled it out across 4 Rugby seasons overseeing over 50 matches. He is a multi-faceted leader who also runs and coaches a cricket Academy in Sunning Hill. With these endeavours requiring more of his attention the Mighty Stingers had to bless and release Coach Lofty with confidence in the coaching staff that will continue to take the team to new heights.

Farewell gallant soldier. Tshuma Stingers has always been, is and always will be your home. Its foundation, mortar and bricks have your legacy written all over them.
